Scooter Braun is known for shaping the careers of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Carly Rae Jepsen. At the end of last year, he talked to The New York Times about the importance of surprise. "I never like to talk about things until we're already successful," he noted. "The moment you announce what you're thinking about doing, you've already created a ticking time bomb."
Today, rumors surfaced suggesting that Braun has been working closely with Kanye West, possibly in a management capacity. A source close to Kanye West told The FADER over email, "Scooter is a friend, confidant and is consulting with Kanye. There is no formal management agreement at this time."
Kanye was recently spotted hanging out Bieber's concerts in L.A.: the rapper previously declared "What Do You Mean" his favorite song of 2015.
