This new video for Brooklyn producer MeLo-X and Little Simz's "FFFS" finds a vacant Roc Nation office transformed into an astral wonderland. The two collaborators dance in the shadows while getting heady about life on this little green planet. To wit, MeLo raps: The key to life so simple: do good, give back to your kinfolk/ We come from the dirt, return to the dirt/ The cycle of life is a symbol.
In an email to The FADER, MeLo described the video as such: "The projections capture the euphoric feel of the track's production while other key elements are in conversation with our lyrical content. Our silhouetted ghost-like counterparts in TyBass, Fresh The Prophet & CaosHorris can be seen jumping around and interacting to every shifting moment within the industrial space we infiltrated."
Watch the Charles Todd (of Scheme Engine) directed video above. "FFFS" is a track off MeLo's Curate EP. Little Simz and MeLo-X will be performing together tonight, March 23, at Rough Trade in Brooklyn.
