Trip hop pioneers Massive Attack are proving that the genre doesn't have to die with the 90's. Earlier this year, the group released their first project since 2010, the Ritual Spirit EP, which features tracks with long-time collaborator Tricky and Scottish group Young Fathers.
Yesterday, Massive Attack debuted their video for "Ritual Spirit," a track in which London singer Azekel contributes his haunting falsetto on top of Massive Attack's signature ominous guitar. Kate Moss stars in the visual, twirling around a string of lights and letting herself fall in and out of the shadows. With Kate Moss in this video and Naomi Campbell in ANOHNI's recent "Drone Bomb Me" clip, it seems that supermodels starring in music videos might be a burgeoning trend of 2016.
