Cast Members Of Hamilton Performed Numbers At The White House Today

Cast members from Lin-Manuel Miranda's Grammy-winning musical Hamilton performed numbers from the show today at the White House for a crowd of high school students. They performed "Alexander Hamilton" and "My Shot".
The performance was introduced by President Obama, who shared a memory of Miranda performing a number from the Hamilton album at the White House Poetry Jam in 2009: "Not to take undue credit or anything, but this is definitely the room where it happened, right here."
