Run The Jewels debuted the clip for "Crown" via a New York Times' NYTVR app, which promises to "put you at the center of the stories that only we can tell" with the help of virtual reality. This marks the hip-hop duo's first move into virtual reality, which will be at the center of a new VRTJ platform.

On Twitter, El-P wrote, "a lot of people ask me, they say, 'el! what made you invent virtual reality'... its simple. I MAKE DEALS. THATS WHAT I DO."
