Last week a Miami police union called the Fraternal Order of Police voted to boycott Beyoncé's upcoming concert in the city to protest her Black Panther-inspired performance of her new single “Formation” at the Super Bowl. Today, they've attracted the attention of a different black social force: The Nation Of Islam and its leader Louis Farrakhan, who during a speech pledged that the organization's Fruit Of Islam - its paramilitary division of male members - would fill in at any concerts the police chose not to attend.
