“That’s a giant mushroom.”

With the memory of a remarkably large bit of New York City sidewalk growth in mind, Moby has drawn Yoko Ono's 1985 song "Hell In Paradise" out into an echoing chamber-like ten-minute house track.

As Moby wrote in a note to The FADER, so the story goes: "One time in the late '80s I found a giant mushroom on the street near the Dakota, where Yoko lived. I was taking pictures of
it and she walked by and said, "That's a giant mushroom.' Thus, the remix, somehow."

And of course Ono is pleased with the outcome, which will be included on her upcoming compilation of remixes and covers Yes, I'm A Witch Too. "I love the fact that he is so creative," she told The FADER. "He added his energy as well as just notes and unnotes!" Indeed, he did.

Listen to Moby's remix of "Hell In Paradise" below, and cop Yoko Ono's Yes, I'm A Witch Too this Friday, February 19 (via MANIMAL).
