Boogie Shares New Freestyle On Beats1 Radio

Congratulations are in order for Boogie, who's just signed to Interscope Records, according to the yelling over this new freestyle, premiered on Dr. Dre's The Pharmacy on Beats 1. On Jaylib's “Starz” instrumental, the rapper packs a lot of fears for himself, his son and his community into a few minutes, and for some that would fit into the box of “conscious rap.” But as Boogie points out, it's his life, and where else can it go but his art? “Stuck in the trappity trap but sayin I'm conscious / Fuck it it's Compton I'm used to the problem.” Listen below and watch Boogie perform his hit “Oh My” at The FADER Fort above.
