A languorous, lovelorn duet written "for the lonely ones this Valentine's Day," as Gallant explained in an email to The FADER, "Skipping Stones" finds Gallant and Aiko searching for the causes of their loneliness. Case in point, on the hook they sing in harmony, Find me skipping stones in water brooks, holding out for something I can't force, before pausing to ask each on their own: What am I missing?
