Animal Collective Releases Free App

Animal Collective offered a new song today, but there's a catch: you have to download the group's free app, "Painting With," to hear it. The app encourages two users to paint digitally while listening to the song. According to a press release, "Fans can record, submit, and share their creations from the app to Twitter and Instagram by using the hashtag #PaintingWith. The submissions are displayed in real-time on the Animal Collective website."
