Gabrielle Ross and Jeremih can now be added to the list of musicians who have turned the top of the week's most ubiqutous hashtag into a hit. Produced by YOBOMusic, the bouncy back beat and catchy chorus are sure to have you unconsciously singing along (for better or worse). And the accompanying video— which was directed by Jim Swafffield, of Trapped in the Closet fame—is all "Single Ladies"-style choreography that you can borrow for the next time you are on the dance floor.
"'#MCM" is the first single and video off my upcoming EP" Ross told The Fader through email. "A lot of crazy stories getting this video done as is the case with so many collaborative efforts, but it was a pleasure recording this song and shooting this video with Jeremih."
