The Ethiopian producer Mikael Seifu detailed his first release on the RVNG Intl. label today. (His previous EPs came out through the Washington D.C. imprint 1432 R .) Zelalem, which translates approximately to "eternity," will contain five tracks. In a press release, Seifu uses the term "Ethiopiyawi Electronic" to describe his sound, which includes folk instruments like the Masenko and the Krar.
