King Louie Appears On CNN
The rapper, who was shot several times last week, discussed gun violence.
"I feel blessed," King Louie told CNN's Don Lemon. Last week, the rapper was shot while leaving his friend's house. According to Louie, the gunman fired 22 times, and seven of those bullets hit their target. "Three of the slugs are still with me today," the MC noted. "Two in my chest and one in my head."
During a short interview, Lemon asked Louie some vague questions about his hometown: "What's going on in Chicago?" "The Devil’s working overtime," the rapper responded. "That’s what’s going on in Chicago. The Devil’s working overtime. Evil." "I think there’s hope," he continued. "I don’t think I would be here today if it wasn’t for prayer. I deeply appreciate all the prayers."
