Moogfest 2016 will also feature performances from Grimes, Miike Snow, Skepta, and Health. In addition to the music, the festival revealed that it will include workshops by members of The New Museum, an exhibit that "will repurpose old telephone switchboards into working modular synthesizers," and a variety of programming from Duke University and the MIT Media Lab. In total, the lineup includes "more than 250 of the world’s most forward-thinking musicians, artists, and technologists."
Finally, Moogfest released Translational Drifts: Volume 2, an EP of "four contemporary acts remixing covers of tracks by seminal electronic musicians." Check out new remixes from Haxan Cloak and Nosaj Thing below, and buy tickets here.
