Wu-Tang Klan's Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, which, it should be noted, features Cher, seems to have found a buyer. Forbes reports that the album, which was only made available on one silver encased disk, was purchased for "millions." The sale seems to offer both digital and physical ownership of the album, underlying a potentially new dynamic for creative output.
“From the beginning, we hoped that this concept would inspire debate and new ways of seeing creativity. Both of those goals have been achieved, and the ideas continue to evolve," RZA said. No word yet on if this means we'll get to hear the full album--or that Cher feature.
