Lust For Youth’s Frontman Introduces Norin, His Bleak-Sounding Solo Project
“Bakom Planteringen” is seven minutes of post-dancefloor unease.

Hannes Norrvide fronts Lust For Youth, the perfectly named Swedish trio with a knack for lush, vaguely balearic synth music. The soundscapes he constructs alone as Norin are less romantic, better suited for near-empty dance floors populated only by the rave's final, bug-eyed stragglers. "Bakom Planteringen," the title track from his new Posh Isolation LP, is seven uneasy minutes of boiler-room clanging, disembodied voices, and nerve-wracked synths. It captures the lonesome, out-of-body feeling that comes right after the party, when you can sort of still hear the music echoing around inside your head—only now it sounds damaged and faraway and a little bit disturbing. Bakom Planteringen is out in December.
