"I tell people that my creativity lies in the belly of the beast," Jlin told FADER in April. "A lot of people misinterpret that and think it's a bad thing. I say it's not, because I can face myself; I use my apprehension, fear, and trauma—and put it in my music."
She returned today with "Nandi," the first taste of a new EP titled Free Fall. Snippets of voices and sharp exhales stutter through a shifting pattern of drum rhythms. Listen below, and look for Free Fall on November 27.
