Blood Orange Will Perform A Special Benefit At The Apollo Theater

All of the proceeds will benefit the Opus118 Harlem School of Music.

Blood Orange, fresh from the release of his beautiful tribute to Sandra Bland, "Sandra's Smile," just announced that he's putting on a special showcase at Harlem's historic Apollo Theater to benefit the Opus 118 Harlem School of Music. The singer took to Instagram to share a poster for the event, saying that he'll be announcing the special guests for the show in the coming weeks. Check out the full post below.

I am playing my ONLY upcoming show at the world's famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem. I've organized this event and will be bringing some NEXT LEVEL artists to perform with me, I will slowly reveal the special guests over the next few weeks but I promise you, you will want a ticket. On top of that, I am giving all of the proceeds to Opus118 Harlem School of Music. Playing music saved my life, & I want to do all I can to help kids in bad areas have the same chance that I got when I was younger. I want everyone to come and have a good time so I've tried to keep tickets affordable. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon. Poster designed & hand painted by @fotine_paura
