Vito & Druzzi Premiere Hypnotic “It’s EZ” Video
Like the iTunes visualizer gone to art school.
Building on the success of 2014's Moon Temple EP, House duo Vito & Druzzi—aka Vito Roccoforte and Gabriel Andruzzi's post-The Rapture project—returned earlier this fall with a new number titled "It's EZ." Featuring airbrushed synths, the easy falsetto of Xavier, and distinct '90s vibes, it's got a infectious pulse that could easily take out a dance floor.
Today, the duo premiere with The FADER an animated video for "It's EZ" that is just as hypnotic. Directed by New York based AV storytellers Georgia, it features Etch A Sketch-like animations—some computer programed, others drawn by hand—that move and change in unison with the song. Like your iTunes visualizer, but as reimagined by Kandinsky.
"As music and video makers, ourselves, we understand that the whole is always made of many smaller parts," Georgia explained in an email to The FADER. "Sometimes these parts are meant to wash over you in a solid wave, sometimes they're meant to draw you in revealing layers of depth."
