If you're not familiar with IDEA Books—the purveyor of rare art, fashion, and design books with that mesmerizing Instagram feed—it's time to get to know them. The brilliant curatorial minds behind the Netherlands-based publishing imprint have teamed up with esteemed Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy for Youth Hotel, a new portraiture book.

Rubchinskiy, who surrounds himself with a cabal of talented, beautiful, and brilliant young collaborators and artists, has been a casual photographer since college. As he explained to AnotherMag, "I just started taking pictures of things that interested me on these basic retro cameras. My friends, the clothes I was making and the daily places we would hang out. I want people to be able to see the world through my eyes, you know?”

As Rubchinskiy's star continues to rise, more and more people are hungry for a glimpse at what provokes the designer's seemingly endless well of invention. In a way, Youth Hotel serves exactly that end. The book contains portraits of Russian teens from all walks of life, taken by Rubchinskiy over the course of a year. Altogether, it's as much a portrait of a generation and a country as it is an abstracted insight into the eye of the enigmatic designer. There's only 500 copies of the book being produced, so make sure you hustle to a Dover Street Market location on the 15th, or order it online via Idea Books the day after.
