Since taking the throne at Christian Dior in 2012, Raf Simons has certainly proved to be more than worthy of maintaining Dior's legendary house. At the Parisian brand's Spring 2016 unveil at Paris Fashion Week today, Raf utilized every tool he had access to. Prior to the Friday show, Dior created a manmade hill in the courtyards of the Louvre with over 400,000 purple delphiniums. Barefaced models were decked out in soft pastel tones as they walked down the runway with a vast forest of flowers serving as a striking backdrop.
Cropped sweaters and sheer fabrics anchored the collection, with gemstone embedded chokers and neck scarves adorning nearly every neck. It was an quiet, beautifully orchestrated ode to simplicity. The biggest draw of all, though, was the current face of the brand, also known as the Queen of the world, Rihanna. Riri showed up to the show in a hot pink Fall 2015 Dior Couture piece. It'd probably be unwearable for most people but, of course, looked absolutely stunning on the bad gyal.
