Xavier Dolan, the 25-year-old budding auteur and French-Canadian enfant terrible, might have stumbled upon an alternate career path. Louis Vuitton has announced it has tapped the young director to star in a new series of campaign images, shot by ubiquitous photographer Alisdair McClean.
Dazed reports Dolan waxing ecstatic about his new gig: “I’ve fondly dreamed of becoming the face of an important brand since I was a child, in the same way that others dream of becoming an astronaut...I dreamed of this as I first and foremost dreamed of becoming an actor and would look up at these huge posters of celebrities while driving along motorways or crossing under bridges.”
