Did you know that Warren G, one of West Coast rap's under-heralded pioneers, is a big time gamer? Neither did we, until he pulled an X-Box controller out of his backpack during a quick visit to The FADER offices yesterday afternoon. "Every city I go to I meet some of my guys that I meet online," he told us—and lo and behold he was telling the truth: a few minutes later his phone rang and it was one such buddy calling. Also in his backpack: some Raw rolling papers, a brand new Bevel razor set, and a hard drive chocked full of new music. Warren G's EP G Funk Era Part II is now available on iTunes.
