Watch Dean Blunt’s New Video, “The Ether”

Dean Blunt, quietly as ever, released a new track and video on YouTube this weekend. "The Ether" is a somber, steady march, and follows on from Blunt's "frontline 2015," a video uploaded last week of boxer Mike Tyson's controversial visit to Brixton in 2000. The new clip borrows from '90s British police drama Prime Suspect, and follows a dramatic beach chase (on a particularly British, gloomy beach) culminating in an aggressive arrest, before the screen becomes overwhelmed by grey and strings reminiscent of his 2013 record The Redeemer.
