Last night we celebrated the release of The FADER's 98th issue. There could not have been a more perfect night to throw a party for our summer music special—the weather was just warm enough, and we had cold Budweiser to refresh us at Bushwick's newest hot spot, El Cortez. Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat showed up to play a surprise DJ set, which was dope, and there was a lot of bumping and grinding, especially when he played cuts from DS2. Vince Staples, the hottest up-and-coming rapper around (check our feature), performed for a crowd of psyched party guests, and then dropped the mic after making an on point joke about Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. Peep the photos from the event below.
