Rick Ross Shares “Family Ties” Clip

Though Rick Ross has been quiet in 2015, he released two albums last year. Yesterday he put out the video for "Family Ties," from the second of those albums, Hood Billionaire. Though the hook is assertive—look at me, look at me/ realest shit you niggas ever seen—this is a relatively muted song for Ross, based around a mournful sample of soul strings and reflective, almost humble lines like, Made so many mistakes I know that my niggas relate.

More recently, Ross was arrested and accused of pistol-whipping and kidnapping a contractor that was working on his house.
