No One Recognized Brandy Singing On The Subway

Brandy hit the subway incognito recently for a short performance which a friend filmed via phone. The singer didn’t pull material from her own catalog—not even one of the deep cuts—instead choosing to bust out a rendition of “Home” from the musical The Wiz. Most New Yorkers did what they always do in subway cars: ignore everything around them. One man offered the star some advice though: "This is an important city ready to embrace you... Don't be scared... go for it!" "We’ve seen this a million times!" he continued. "You have to do something different. You gotta be over the top."
