Recently, we shadowed California five-piece Ceremony for a few days and got them to open up about their shape-shifting sonics and the romantic break-up that inspired their new LP, The L-Shaped Man. That album is out next Tuesday, May 19th, and to celebrate, The FADER linked up with the band once more to discuss more urgent matters: their favorite Bay Area slangs, for one, as well as some of the ultra-serious-sounding hardcore band names that make them laugh and a Wayne's World anecdote that pretty much perfectly encapsulates the more musically closed-minded side of punk.
