Main Attrakionz Debut Kreayshawn-Directed Video For “Ain’t No Other Way”
The cloud rap originators’ new album ‘808s and Dark Grapes 3’ is out next month.
It's almost three years since Main Attrakionz's debut album Bossalinis & Fooliyones, and the cloud rap architects are now readying what will technically be their first full-length since then. Titled 808s and Dark Grapes 3, it's set for release this summer. Two important/exciting things to note about that project: 1) it will be produced in its entirety by East Bay production duo Friendzone; and 2) they recruited Kreayshawn(!) to direct the video for their supremely chill latest single, "Ain't No Other Way."
They shot the low-key video in on a "nice little night" in the winding streets of San Fransisco's Chinatown. "Shit was nice," Mondre M.A.N. told The FADER, making the shoot sound more like a hangout than work. "Shout out to Kreayshawn for showing support, shooting the video for us." 808s and Dark Grapes 3 is out June 30 via Neil Young's Vapor Records label, and they have a short run of tour dates scheduled for before them; check out the lineup below.
