On The Road With Lil Durk

Lil Durk spent the first three months of 2015 out on the road, on his first major headlining tour in anticipation of his forthcoming Def Jam debut Remember My Name. It proved to be an especially poignant experience for the Chicago rapper, whose rise has at times been turbulent. "This has been a long journey since getting signed in 2012, I've had a lot of ups and downs during my career to get to this point," he told The FADER. "We went from doing no shows, to doing shows with no people, to now doing a full 20-city tour with all the shows sold out and fans from everywhere and all different nationalities and walks of life singing my shit word for word."

Director Joe Moore joined Durk, capturing footage of everything from sold out shows to giddy meet-and-greets to hotel room pep talks from Durk's late manager Chino for a behind-the-scenes tour doc called Wherever I Go that is premiering in three-parts on The FADER throughout this week. "It just shows how far I've come and I still have a lot of room to grow and expand," says Durk of the doc, "I'm just blessed!" Update 5/13/15: In Part 2 of the doc Lil Durk performs in New Orleans and in Delaware, spending a lot of time on buses and in hotel rooms, at home with fans and messing around in a boxing gym, in between. Watch below.
