Willow Smith's favorite band Girlpool are on tour right now, but that won't stop them from churning out new music. If anything, it seems to be spurring them on, as this weekend they shared the brittle and beautiful "your heart" on Soundcloud. The demo is not due to appear on their upcoming album Before The World Was Big, but rather a tune they say was written and recorded "the other day" while driving through Idaho. In their recent Gen F profile, guitarist/singer Cleo Tucker told The FADER, "Sometimes, we'll discuss one line for two and a half hours." Clearly, those long drives have been full of such meandering conversations, with resulting lines—You're louder than the kitchen sink, I'm louder than the thoughts I think—that ring in your ears long after you first hear them.
