UPDATE 5/5/2015 7:15 p.m.: The case has suddenly been dropped according to TMZ.
A late-night basketball game may have embroiled Chris Brown in legal troubles once again. According to TMZ, a post-3 AM on-court argument led to blows between Brown and his opponent. The singer has been off probation for less than two months. The site Thisis50 suggests that Jeremih might also have been involved in the altercation, but there's no official confirmation of that yet.
Gerrick Kennedy, a writer for the Los Angeles Times, recently tweeted excerpts from a Las Vegas Police Department release.
"A verbal altercation on the court led to a physical fight and the victim was punched by another male subject," LVMPD says in release.

"Brown has been given the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery, or having the case submitted to the Clark County DA office."

LVMPD has not heard from Chris Brown or his attorney, according to release. He's off probation here tho so there's that. At least.
