UPDATE 3/23/15 5:12 p.m.: When reached for a statement, Gleesh's management team told FADER that as of today they're no longer actively managing him, "a decision made by Gleesh's family," and are unable to comment on the charges.
NBC KXAN reports that Asa Asuncion, aka Yung Gleesh, was charged with sexual assault following an incident that took place in Austin, Texas during SXSW. According to Austin Police, Asuncion, 25, was allegedly found on top of an mostly unclothed, unconscious woman at a friend's home in the early morning hours of March 20. When cops arrived at the home after speaking with the victim at the hospital, Asuncion had already left but his manager was still at the house, and claimed that the rapper was driving to Dallas for scheduled shows before heading back to Washington D.C. One of those shows, scheduled for last night, was postponed indefinitely:
@yung_gleesh Cannot make the Dallas show Sunday - we are rescheduling a Texas tour - The show will still go on - $10
