Just when we think we "get" FKA Twigs, that we understand her style or at have a solid idea of what to expect from her sartorially, she up and flips the script. Last night, Twigs performed at the opening of the Alexander McQueen "Savage Beauty" exhibit at London's Victoria and Albert Museum, and she dug up a vivid avian number from the McQueen archives for the occasion. Some of her signatures—septum ring, baby hairs, and immaculately painted red lips—were in place, too. We're still waiting for video of the performance to pop up, but 'til then, check the images below and read Twigs' cover story from The FADER's 91st issue.
