Camden Town native JWhy is gifted at glancing toward a singular theme and whittling around it with a dry wit. "Writing Time" was sharp (and meta) enough to make Brownswood Bubblers, and now he premieres a winking new record from his upcoming EP that's just as sweetly deadpan. "Timezone" is about traveling, but also traversing: Came really far, blessings from God, time for a flight to where it is hot, what? Now I've got to rearrange the time on my watch. JWhy's EP2 drops March 17 on London label Humanna Records.
