Blood Orange Goes Orchestral On “Delancey (Demo)”

Last month, word spread that Blood Orange's Dev Hynes was working with "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen. Perhaps the pop singer's love of strings rubbed off on him? "Delancey," a demo Hynes posted to his website today, is a hauntingly beautiful track consisting of an ace cello arrangement and the artist's layered vocals. For this one Hynes wrote, recorded and produced it. Could this be the first taste of his follow up to Cupid Deluxe? Hopefully.
