The red carpet is not what is used to be. Credit this change to women, especially the ones who don't want to put their fingers in a mani cam, the ones who want to answer better questions, and the ones who want to wear pants. Perhaps following Lorde's lead with trousers plus a fancy sports bra, a deep squad of women forwent dresses at Sunday's Grammys. In tailored suits, cropped pants, and onesies, they looked great. As a woman who's never enjoyed wearing dresses, I'm glad to see this whole buffet of better formalwear options, and eager to see who'll sell the best suits this spring.
