Suge Knight, the law-breaking co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records, has been formally charged with murder following the hit and run incident he was involved in last week. As Billboard reports, if charged, Knight could face life imprisonment.

Knight allegedly ran over two men in a parking lot following a physical altercation on the set of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, one of whom—his friend Terry Carter—later died of his injuries. The mogul is currently being held without bail until an arraignment at the Los Angeles County Superior Court scheduled for today (February 3). As well as murder, he will face a charge of attempted murder and two counts of hit and run.
