Chance The Rapper And The Social Experiment’s FADER Cover Shoot

The cover for The FADER's February/March 2015 issue goes to Chance The Rapper, Donnie Trumpet, and the rest of their band of high-functioning goofballs. The feature, by Andrew Nosnitsky, is online right now.

Photographer Jason Nocito helmed the camera; he has shot past FADER covers for Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Solange. For this story, he met The Social Experiment at Chance's swank rental in the Hollywood Hills, where the group had convened to put the finishing touches on Donnie's album, Surf. FADER TV producer Scott Perry was on hand to provide an inside look at the process. "Everybody is willing to compromise," Nate Fox told him, about the band's brotherly approach. "We realize that the potential when we work together is greater than when we work apart."
