On a recent episode of Jeopardy, a contestant mistook Azealia for Azalea—and he's very sorry he did. It all started when Nicholas Berube buzzed in to respond to this answer: "This Australian hip-hopper used the pet name/street name system to come up with her rap name." He offered "Who is Azealia Banks?" when the right question is, of course, Who is Iggy Azalea? Names and shared appetite for Twitter beefing aside, these two women have very little in common (in fact, they pretty much hate each other). And to Berube's credit, he seems to know that: after the show, he created a Twitter account with the express intent of apologizing for the mixup. Turns out, he's a Broke With Expensive Taste fan.
Hey @AZEALIABANKS - I'm the guy on Jeopardy who mixed you up with Iggy Azalea. I apologize. I actually think you're awesome.
