Harlem producer Austin Millz knew exactly who he wanted while casting features for his upcoming mixtape, Searching For Gotham. "I wanted someone who encompassed the bridging of the gap between electronic music and hip hop," he told FADER. So he reached out to the adventuresome and experimental Rome Fortune: "I felt Rome was the guy for that. He's a friend of mine, so I reached out and we went to Converse Rubber Tracks studio to create this masterpiece!" The result of that Rubber Tracks session is "Illusion," a song that is about as wavy thematically as it is sonically. Fall into the mix below. Millz's Searching For Gotham will also feature additional guest appearances from ASTR, OG Maco, D.R.A.M, Shash'U, and more; it drops January 29.
