Hear Two New Young Thug Tracks, “Pelican Fly” And “Hold Us”

The holiday season clearly means little to Young Thug, whose work ethic apparently doesn't let up even after a huge 2014; despite it not being long since he dropped the floaty "Cloud 9," he's just followed it up with two new cuts. "Pelican Fly" is all drama and romance, with twinkling melodies nosediving off a bombastic beat, and the whole thing shuddering in the wake of Thugger's zig-zagging flow. Meanwhile his collaboration with Rich Homie Quan and Peewee Longway, "Hold Us," is a more straight-up defiant anthem (including some musing on how to fit your bank roll into your skinny jeans, and some pretty great fungi puns).
