We don't need to speculate anymore: WWD has confirmed that Puma has tapped Riri as its creative director. The multi-year partnership has Rihanna overseeing the women's line, as well as working as a global brand ambassador, where she'll be in good company—joining Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and football striker Mario Balotelli.
Puma's CEO Bjørn Gulden tells WWD: "Signing Rihanna is a fantastic step for Puma. Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand. We're delighted to have her as a partner, and we're looking forward to what's to come."
UPDATE: Ri has posted a photo of herself signing her contract whilst wearing her new creepers, so we've included that below for y'all.
