Kitty Cash stays earning her title of R&B game DJ Khaled. The polyglot Brooklyn-based DJ's launching a brand new remix series called "GEMS," which will feature gemstone-themed remixes—or, as she puts it, "I'll be readjusting their sonic aura"—of her favorite songs. First up is "Larimar," a spacey, flip of Beyoncé's "7/11" that embodies it's namesake ocean blue pectolite.

"Larimar is a stone specially for women that channels the goddess energy. It supports a state of confidence and self awareness, and also provides the power of clear communication and emotional strength that allows one to speak from the heart," Cash explained to FADER. "'Larimar' is my debut remix with original production. To be confident and comfortable in my skin, especially as a woman, is a message that is and will always be present in my art. is always having fun while remaining an icon, artist, wife and mother. Now, I'm using the inspiration and taking the next step forward in revealing myself and true potential with original music material—all while still having fun with it."
