Fresh from DJ-ing for Mary J. Blige at FADER FORT—and copping a shoutout from the queen herself—New York-via-Chicago's Brenmar has pulled another smooth joint out the bag. Rappers Rome Fortune and Lil Uzi Vert, hailing from Atlanta and Philadelphia respectively, swap high time—and a touch x-rated—tales over the kind of lean and leaned out beat that instantly conjures up a 4am mind-frame. Seems the making of was pretty PG though: "Rome Fortune and I linked up to write a track but we only had enough time to lock down a beat and the verses," explains Brenmar. "I had a session with Lil Uzi Vert who is also fam with Rome so I played him the track, he laid down the hook 5 minutes later and it was a wrap!" Brenmar has a new EP, titled Award, coming on Fool's Gold in January, and plays the label's 7th birthday at Webster Hall in NYC.

Update: It's been a good day for Rome Fortune fans, who can now also add this just-dropped video for "No Drugs Anymore," one of his collaborations with suicideyear, to the list of new shit to enjoy.
