It's the first Tuesday of November, which means it's Election Day in the United States. Polls across the country are still open, but we're ready to call the most heroic effort to cast a vote race in favor of Lil Jon, who boarded a cross-country flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta at 6 A.M. this morning because his absentee ballot never arrived. The Rock The Vote spokesman posted a plane selfie with a caption that read, "YOU CAN'T DISCOURAGE ME!" Polls in Georgia close at 7 P.M., and we'll be eagerly-awaiting his post-vote selfie until then. [Update: he made it]
Lil Jon's dedication is inspiring, but participation is not a competition. Along with the usual cabal of politically conscious celebs–Russell Simmons, we're looking at you– many FADER friendly artists have also been sharing their election day activities. Here, a few who are proudly participating:

They won't be casting ballots today, but Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan played a free show in Atlanta last night to help mobilize young voters there. And as promised, Thugger and Quan took a minute backstage to fill out a voter registration forms because it's never too late for next year.
