Lil Bibby burst out of Chicago with a voice weathered beyond his years; alongside Lil Herb, his earliest verses felt like they were delivered from a white-hot street corner and slumped at the end of a speakeasy bar at the same time. So to hear the '90s baby enlist an '83 Pat Benatar sample is kind of funny, but pretty real: No one can tell us we're wrong could probably be the mission statement for thousands of young block boys lurking through hoods across the country.
