O.T. Genasis’ “CoCo” Might Be The Best New Song To Yell
California rapper O.T. Genasis keeps thing simple in his video for “Coco.”

In the 1990s, pop and rap video budgets could balloon above seven digits, but by the end of the 2000s, that kind of money for a single music video would have been unthinkable. After cheaper cameras hit the market, a new model emerged: simple, impactful set-ups capturing a moment in a rapper's life. California rapper and Busta Rhymes affiliate O.T. Genasis follows that logic in his latest video, "CoCo," a straightforward, no-sweat tale of drug production and distribution. The fact that the video doesn't appear in high definition could either be a deliberate artistic choice or just because someone wanted to speed up the uploading process, but assuming the former, let's hope next video budget at least allows for 480p.
