We always hope that when acts we love go on tour together, they might collab a bit as well. This is sadly almost never the case--egos and schedules drive tours and kill the collaborative spirit. But today, we premiere rare fruit of such labor, a collaboration between English band Glass Animals and Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune, who've been riding around the country together all summer. The band reworked "Hazey" from their debut Zaba to fit Fortune's playful rapping style: "He actually did the verses over the original track, but when I heard them I thought the music could be made to fit his voice and tone a bit more tightly," lead Dave Bayley explains. "We asked him to come on tour with us and it's been wicked. Him joining us on stage keeps us all on our toes." We're stoked to hear Fortune take new psychedelic ground, and Glass Animals stretching into a new genre for the tail end of festival season. They'll be closing out their tour in the UK through October.
