Virgil Abloh has dropped the lookbook for his spring '15 collection, and it's a stark, minimalist affair, starring (not unusual, for Abloh) structural black and white looks, lots of sweatshirt detailing, and what could be considered a primer on layering. Many of the pieces bore traces of a "Nebraska" logo, which Abloh hinted to Women's Wear Daily was meant to convey a sense of nowhere-ness. Abloh's pure, complex vision also included lots of sheer detailing and a few pale denim looks that recalled his fall '14 vision. Shot with minimally styled models against a non-descript concrete wall, Abloh's vision for spring is austere but intensely detailed, thoughtful without being overwrought. Check out looks from the collection below, and for more on Abloh's polarizing yet undeniable rise in the fashion world, revisit our FADER 93 interview, "Graphic Content', here.
